Hooded jacket progress

I cast on for the Bergere de France hooded jacket on Saturday night. This is the current progress - back completed, left front completed, part way up the right front. This jacket knits up quickly!

Notice the yarn decided to pool in the centre part of the back, then reverted to type again. No idea why it did that! I don't think it looks too odd, at least there is a form of symmetry about it. I'm hoping to finish the jacket this week, as I'm on holiday (yay).

Happy Holiday! It's great, so comfy looking, and so quick. I bet you will wear this one to death.

Ooh you are quick!!!
Welshpool is a sweet little place but not much there.
Powis Castle has a fabulous garden if you like that sort of thing. There is a steam railway if you like that sort of thing too!
Nearby is Coed y Dinas, a new farm conversion which is a gift shop/agricultural store/cafe and garden centre all rolled uptogether. its new and I've only been once - it is still finding its feet but had some interesting stuff. A tiny artycrafty section too. Enjoy!!!!!

I like the way the back turned out. It makes it look a little more airy, and, as you said, it did go back to a sort of symmetry.

Enjoy your holiday!

There must be sparks coming off your needles. LOL It looks lovely so far and don't worry about the pooling - it gives a nice effect.

I quite like the way the yarn has turned out on the back. It looks interesting. Don't let it bother you, you won't see it when you're wearing it anyway.
